My name is Huy Nguyen and I'm a senior at Texas A&M Commerce. My field of study is all-level kinesiology and I'm cuurently taking an integrating technology into the classroom (ETEC) class. I enjoy being active and participating in intramural events at the local rec center while also being an active brother in the Kappa Sigma fraternity here on campus.
I would like to see today's classroom more upgraded and advanced. Technology can contribute in many different ways and I feel like it could only help with progressing our student's education. Our current students attending school are very much connected with technology (cell phones, computers, tv) that it would only make sense to incorporate something that is a everyday part of their lives into the education.
This ETEC class is very important to my teachings for the future. Even though I'm just a physical educator, I feel like I can still use technology to my advantage. For example, the student's could use technology to create their own workout plans that they can keep up with outside of class. I would like to use this class as a jump start into running a classroom in the near future.
